



Overview
This document forms part of the official
Acknowledgement of Debt (AoD) process
and outlines the terms you agree to by submitting the AoD form. It applies to all students placed on the
preliminary deregistration list
due to being in arrears by more than two months as of June 2025.
Failure to act by
Saturday, 14 June 2025 (5:00 PM)
will result in automatic deregistration on
Monday, 17 June 2025
, and full liability for the outstanding debt.
Your Three Options
To avoid deregistration, every student must complete the AoD form by the deadline and choose one of the following:
Acknowledge your full debt and settle it in full immediately. Pay at least the last two months’ instalments, and sign the AoD form agreeing to pay off the balance in instalments (maximum of six months).Dispute the arrears by uploading full proof of payment and your payment book to your campus manager by the same deadline.⚠️ Note: Submitting false or fraudulent proof may result in disciplinary action and referral to SAPS.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
If you do not complete the AoD form and make the minimum payment by Saturday, 14 June 2025 the following will apply:
You will be deregistered automatically on Monday, 17 June 2025.You will lose your academic seat and forfeit all tuition paid to date.You will remain fully liable for your total arrears under our binding Terms & Conditions.You will be reported to SETA/QCTO as non-compliant.You may not register with other accredited providers until your Edu-Build account is fully settled.No extensions, exceptions, or grace period will be considered after the deadline.
Impact on Graduation Eligibility
This policy applies
especially
to students completing Level 4A and Level 5A who have submitted their Portfolios of Evidence (PoEs).
No student will be permitted to graduate unless:Their full debt is settled, ORThey have submitted the AoD form and made payment for the last two full months.
Graduation eligibility will be blocked in the absence of full compliance.
No academic transcripts, certificates, or recognition of partial results will be issued
until:
The full course has been completed,The student has complied with all Terms and Conditions, andAll outstanding fees, including registration (in the case of re-registration), are settled.
Students who deregister will be required to
re-register and repay the registration fee
before access to records or learning content is restored.
By accessing this document and proceeding to submit the AoD form, you confirm that:
You understand and accept these Acknowledgement of Debt & Deregistration Terms (June 2025),You acknowledge your binding financial obligations, and
You waive all rights to dispute the Terms once submitted.
